The Onslow Bay 27 XS is a redesign of the 23 TE that considers the needs of the family as well as the avid offshore fisherman. It has a one level deck with a molded in wrap around seat in the bow. Underneath the seats is dry storage. Below deck is 1240 qts of insulated storage.

The 30 gallon transom livewell is standard, but a leaning post livewell can be installed as an option with the shorter consoles. There are 3 consoles available with the 27 XS. The tournament console is standard and has a front entry door and the ability to add side rodholders. Also available is a wider console with a molded in front cooler seat and a side entry door. This console is available in two different lengths.

Standard fuel is 165 gallons, but can be extended to 208 gallons if the step down in the console is taken out. The hull is the same as the 23 TE, which is a proven tournament winner that features a 24 degree deadrise and a large bow flare for a smooth dry ride.
